Andrea Fernandes

Andrea Fernandes is an Executive Director at JPMorgan. She is the Global Head of Process Re-Engineering for Party Reference Data. Based in London, Andrea is responsible for transforming how the firm creates reference data for parties and party-to-party relationships within the client onboarding process. Prior to this role, Andrea was the Head of Onboarding and KYC for JPMorgan’s Markets, Prime Brokerage and Custody businesses in EMEA. Andrea worked closely with GLEIF to launch the LEI Validation Agent role which allows regulated financial institutions to leverage their existing identity verification processes to make it easier and less expensive for their clients to get an LEI. Under Andrea’s leadership, JP Morgan became the first Validation Agent in the Global LEI System in October 2020.
